At TCS, we believe in supporting organizations who share the same commitment and philosophy at home and overseas. That's why we support a number of community and global initiatives to help people who are developmentally disabled.
Here at TCS, we believe that it is our responsibility to be involved in the development of public policy and education. Our senior management team has been involved in many local and provincial initiatives to improve service delivery and develop standards of care. TCS is a member of the Federation of Community Social Services of BC and the Autism Society of British Columbia.
We recognize that as part of the community of care within BC, we have a responsibility to support organizations working to improve the lives of others. We encourage each member of the TCS team to become involved in community causes or events and are proud to support their efforts working with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, BC Cancer Agency, Pine Park Recreational Society, the Big Bike Race, the Relay for Life, Shriner's Hospital, Kamloops Adopt-a-Road Program, the Terry Fox Run and the Chidlren's Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Our commitment to community care extends beyond our local community. Members of the TCS management team work with the non-profit organization, Angeles Anonimos, to support their work with developmentally disabled people in Peru. Angeles Anonimos (Angels Anonymous) encourages the development of developmentally disabled people by teaching them the art of making fine, artisan jewelry in order for disabled people to become self supporting.
Visit Angeles Anonimos to order artisan jewelery, make a contribution or learn more about their work in Peru.
