Bob Cornish Owner, CEO
Bob loves working with his staff and clients to build programs and find solutions for communities. He was CEO with TCS for 5 years prior to becoming Owner in 2008. Bob is driven by the people and challenges that the company faces. When he’s not working at the Head Office in Kamloops or visiting TCS facilities throughout the province, Bob likes to spend his time with his family.
Wrenn Weston Director of Corporate Services
Wrenn joined Thompson Community Services in 2008 as the Senior Manager. He is located in Vancouver and in addition to his corporate duties, is responsible for overseeing TCS' Lower Mainland and Vancouver operations. Wrenn has found working for TCS to be a very rewarding experience and is proud of the quality services that TCS provides and very appreciative of the hardworking staff and caregivers who are dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Kristine DeMonte Director of Quality Assurance
Kristine has been working with TCS for over 25 years; she started when she was very young as an on-call employee and has worked her way up to her current position. Kristine loves that TCS is an organization that accepts challenges and grows with the times. When she isn’t working, Kristine likes to spend time with her husband and children.
Terry Watkinson Director of Operations
Terry has been with TCS since it's inception in 1984. She enjoys working at a progressive company that is supportive to it's employees and offers a pleasant environment for working. When Terry is not working at TCS she enjoys golfing, doing yardwork and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren!
Bonnie has worked for TCS for over 15 years and is happy to report there has never been a dull moment. When Bonnie is not busy working, she enjoys traveling, wine tours and spending time with her grandchildren.
Susan Child Area Manager, Fraser (Lower Mainland)
Upon deciding to make a career change in 1996, Susan began her career with TCS as an on-call staff. Working with TCS has provided Susan with opportunities to learn and grow, progressing to her current position. Susan enjoys the collaborative team spirit at TCS and the challenges of working in an ever-changing field. When away from work, Susan enjoys catching up with family and friends.
Liz Macdonald Area & Home Share Manager, Vancouver Coastal
Liz has worked for TCS for 4 years. Liz's favourite thing about working for TCS is being a part of an organization that focuses on personalized services for all served. When Liz isn't working, she can be found training for a marathon or biking. Liz most recently participated in a 250 km bike ride from Vancouver to Seattle to raise money for Cancer Research in BC.
Kristie has worked for Thompson Community Services for 12 years and enjoys working with our team, clients, families and the community. Kristie is a proud mother of 2 and is their biggest fan!
Keith started his career in Human Services at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in his home town of Edmonton, Alberta. Keith moved out west to Kamloops in 1991 after completing his B.A. at the University of Alberta and has continued in his path and passion of helping others. Keith often finds himself humbled by the dedication and compassion of everyone at TCS particularly the caregivers, and is proud to be a member of such a great team.
Practicing in Social Services since 1998, Kari-Anne is a skilled addition to the Home Share Management Team. As a staff member in front line service since 2008, Kari-Anne has naturally progressed into the role as our newest Home Share Manager. Kari-Anne is passionate about client rights and advocacy and is available to answer any questions regarding Home Share opportunities within the organization. When not at work, Kari-Anne and her husband enjoy spending time with their five children and are both active community participants.
