The team at Thompson Community Services understands that it is important for all individuals feel success through meaningful employment. We work with the business community to develop employment for individuals with developmental disabilities.
As with all our programs, special care is taken to make sure each individual's needs and interests are matched with the right employment setting. We help individuals determine interests, prepare for the work environment, access job search / placement services and maintain employment.
Prior to beginning the job search we help individuals identify their employment goals, skills and interests.
Once ready for employment we help individuals with the job search process.
Once an individual has found work, Thompson Community Services staff continue to support that individual for the duration of their employment.
We offer on-site job coaching to individuals who require and request it.
